The Foundation Renovación y Esperanza is located in the sector San Pedro, in the neighbourhood of Torices, in the city of Cartagena de Indias, Colombia. Cartagena is the capital of the department of  Bolívar and for its geograpghic location on the caribean coast  the most important tourist destination of the country. 

                                               

How to get to Cartagena

By Air 

Cartagena´s International Airport Rafael Nuñez, is located in the neighbourhood of Crespo, only 10 minutes away from the old city and about 15 minutes from the tourist sector where the majority of the hotels are located. The airport can be reached by taxi as well as frequent bus services. All major Colombian carriers operate flights to and from Cartagena (Avianca, Aires, Aerorepública). International carriers that operate flights to and from Cartagena include Copa Airlines, American Airlines, Air Madrid and West Caribbean.

By Sea 

Becouse of its strategic location in the Caribean and its many touristic, historical and cultural attractions, Cartagena de Indias is an important stopping point for all major cruise vessels on their tour around the world. Furthermore, there are sailboats that take travelers from Cartagena to Colón, Panama and viceversa.

By Land

The Cartagena bus terminal is on the eastern outskirts of the city, about 45 minutes away from the old centre and reachable by taxi or the Metrocar bus route. From this terminal you can easily find buses that will connect you with other cities in the region, with the major cities in the country and with Colombia´s neighbouring countries.
